Sean is a client centered therapist who is trained in several modalities of counseling services, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy. Sean believes in a development approach to therapy; understanding that a person is the sum of his environment, biology and personal history. In order to resolve personal problems, it is critical to understand where and when these problems manifested in a person’s life. Once this is history is grasped the client and therapist can work together to heal old wounds, create new coping strategies to current stress and move into a more fulfilling way of being.
Sean and his family moved to Waterbury Center, Vermont in September 2016 to be closer to family and nature. Sean is an avid skier and explorer of all Vermont has to offer.
